Metal Finishing Technician

Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic interconnect components seeks candidates for this great entry-level opportunity in Oyster Bay, NY. Metal Finishing Technicians use machinery or manual means to clean, degrease, and remove chips or burrs created by the stamping/cutting/punching process from manufactured parts. This then allows for the uniform application of a finishing material such as precious metals like gold and silver. Metal Finishing Technicians should be independent self-starters who work well in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable using tools and machinery, have great attention to detail, and are able to read sketches and blueprints. They must execute quality work under strict deadlines, have good manual dexterity, be able to adapt to process changes, and perform some troubleshooting and quality control. This is a great entry-level position with many opportunities for transfer/advancement into related manufacturing departments once the initial skills are mastered.
