Composites Technician 3dx Scenic LLC Blue Ash, OH Job Details Full-time $21 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Assembly Attention to detail Quality standards in production Safety equipment Manufacturing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Composites Technician to join our creative manufacturing team. A Composites Technician is responsible for producing high-quality composite parts, molds, and tooling using a variety of materials, processes, and equipment. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Position Responsibilities
- Produce composite elements using hand layup methods and machine/chopper gun spray techniques
- Manufacture FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) and silicone molds from foam sculpts
- Cut, trim, and process composite tooling and finished parts
- Properly prepare parts for spray coatings and final assembly
- Use HVLP spray systems to apply mold releases, primers, and other coatings
- Apply polyurethane hard-coat systems to foam sculpts
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of commonly used composite materials
- Properly care for and maintain materials, tools, and equipment to maximize usable lifespan
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned General Responsibilities
- Achieve and maintain working knowledge of Company operational software
- Accurately complete and track production elements using company quality control (QC) documentation
- Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) for all assigned tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Consistently meet the Company's expected quality standards
- Effectively multitask and prioritize objectives to meet production deadlines
