Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Stone Polisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for refining and finishing stone surfaces to achieve high-quality, polished results. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, mechanical skills, and experience working with heavy equipment. The Stone Polisher plays a vital part in producing premium stone products used in construction, design, and architectural projects. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate polishing machines and tools to smooth and finish stone surfaces Inspect finished products for quality and consistency Use heavy equipment such as forklifts Assist with fabrication processes including cutting, shaping, and assembling stone components Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members on project timelines and quality standards Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, welding, and machinery use Qualifications Prior experience in granite finishing, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus Ability to work with construction tools Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment, welding, and fabrication processes
