Job Description
About the role We're hiring a Cerakote Applicator to support production by applying high-quality coatings to fire equipment parts, primarily smaller aluminum components. This role is focused on spraying and mixing, with occasional taping and masking as needed. Experience is preferred, but we're open to the right entry-level to mid-level candidate who brings strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Why this role matters This position plays an important part in the final appearance and finish quality of our products. The right person will bring care, consistency, and attention to detail to every part they coat, helping the team maintain efficient production and strong quality standards. What you'll do Mix Cerakote coatings accurately and consistently for production runs Apply Cerakote finishes to fire equipment parts, primarily smaller aluminum components Perform occasional taping and masking to prepare parts for coating Inspect coated parts for finish quality, coverage, consistency, and defects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe spray area Follow established coating procedures, production schedules, and quality standards Work closely with teammates who handle prep work and other production steps Help identify coating issues and communicate them quickly so they can be corrected What we're looking for Strong attention to detail and ability to apply coatings consistently Comfort working in a hands-on production or shop environment Ability to follow established processes and safety procedures Reliable work habits and a steady, quality-focused approach Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced teammates Ability to stand for extended periods and handle small parts with care Preferred qualifications Cerakote application experience preferred Experience spraying coated finishes on metal parts, especially aluminum components Cerakote training Experience with masking or taping parts for finishing Familiarity with finish inspection and quality expectations in a production setting Team / collaboration context This role works alongside teammates who handle most surface preparation and other pre-coating steps. The Cerakote Applicator is primarily responsible for mixing, spraying, and supporting finish quality during the coating stage. Location / work model On-site Full-time 8389 11th St., White City, OR 97503 Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. One-hour lunch break at 12:00 p.m.
