Powder Coater

D.L. George and Sons Manufacturing, a family owned and operated company, is seeking 1st Shift Powder Coaters.

Powder Coater Qualifications and Skills:

Previous powder coating experience preferred Apply powder coating according to customer specifications Ability to use powder coating equipment Ability to read customer specifications Must maintain and clean equipment Ability to read and understand work instructions and standard procedures Prepare parts for coating Follow principles and procedures for powder coating application

Powder Coater Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs all assigned powder coating operations Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures Performs inspection of coated products and documents results Completes and maintains paperwork for parts

Powder Coater Physical Requirements:

Meet D.L. George & Sons medical, drug and alcohol qualifications Must be able to walk and stand throughout an 8 hour shift Must be able to lift material weighing up to 50 pounds from a floor or table position to chest high using proper lifting techniques Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers in the manipulation of parts, while demonstrating good hand/eye coordination Demonstrate good manual dexterity D.L.
