In this pivotal role, you will oversee the finishing process of custom cabinets, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of quality, craftsmanship, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will drive efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and inspire a team dedicated to excellence in woodworking and finishing techniques. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional passionate about precision finishing to lead projects from start to finish. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the cabinet finishing process, including sanding, staining, painting, and sealing to achieve flawless results. Operate and maintain a variety of tools and paint sprayers in a state of the art paint booth Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to verify dimensions, finishes, and overall craftsmanship meet specifications. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve productivity across finishing operations Ensure compliance with safety standards by maintaining proper use of all finishing equipment. Coordinate with the carpenters to ensure efficiency and quality. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or woodworking environments with a focus on cabinet finishing or related craftwork. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating paint-sprayers and paint booths. Familiarity with materials handling techniques including warehouse experience and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and quality assessments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
