Plate maker Container Graphics Corp. - 3.0 Irving, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $23 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Cleaning and sanitation procedure implementation Defect detection (quality control) Equipment setup (production tasks) Manufacturing facilities cleaning Industrial equipment adjustment Manufacturing standard operating procedures Quality assurance standard operating procedures Visual inspection as testing technique Cleaning (surface preparation method) Equipment maintenance Data collection Safety standard operating procedures Standard operating procedures (SOPs) Entry level Equipment adjustment (production tasks) Flexographic printing Full Job Description The Printing Plate Maker is responsible for the making of flexographic printing plates, ensuring they meet Container Graphics quality and performance standards. They will use the methods specified by the CGC order, customer specifications and SOPs to complete the plate making process. The Printing Plate Maker is expected to drive Container Graphics CS1 mindset and always represent the company is a positive, energetic, and consistent manner. They will report directly to the Production Manager Review film/files, order, and all other supporting information to make the ordered plates Ensure the equipment is clean and operational before use Ensure the materials used in the process are accurately identified, clean and within specifications Position the film (if applicable) and materials effectively on the equipment, ensuring the surfaces are free from any defect which could alter the accuracy of the finished plate Follow Standard Operating Procedures when using digital, liquid or sheet plate equipment to produce finished plates in accordance with order and customer specifications Remove, recover, clean, and trim finished plates according to the Standard Operating Procedures, the order and customer specifications Visually inspect the finished plates for any defects of deviations from the order, standards, or customer specifications Notify the appropriate personnel immediately whenever any issue is discovered Evaluate the operational state if the equipment used and ensure it is adjusted, aligned, and maintained properly Accurate data collection of time and materials Follow all CGC corporate safety program requirements Understand and participate in quality checks as required Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping in work area Perform all other related duties as assigned
