Position Summary:
The Sand Blaster is responsible for surface preparation of metal components using abrasive blasting techniques to ensure proper coating adhesion and finish quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces Remove rust, scale, and contaminants from metal components Inspect surfaces to ensure proper preparation standards are met Maintain blasting equipment and ensure proper function Follow safety procedures, including PPE and containment practices Coordinate with painting and production teams Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
1-3+ years of sandblasting or surface prep experience preferred Ability to operate blasting equipment safely Knowledge of surface preparation standards Strong attention to detail and safety practices Monday-Friday 6am-6pm and Saturday/Sunday 6am-2pm
