Finishing Department Supervisor SUMMARY:

Ideal candidate would have the qualifications and skills to perform a variety of different job duties within the department. This job requires a flexibility mindset as individuals will be assigned a variety of duties throughout the workday.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to perform or support: Inspection Embossing Engraving Screen Print Packaging & Shipment Maintains constant and clear communication with Supervisor to ensure proper workflow between assignments. Follow and maintain safe manufacturing practices.
• Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in work area.
• Ability to work independently or part of a team constructively with little supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude.
• May require additional work hours during peak seasons.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Continually required to sit, walk and stand (8-10 hours per day and up to2-4 hours overtime as needed) Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Continually required to talk, hear, and visually see and focus on items during process, including but not limited to color, peripheral and depth perception and adjust focus.
• Ability to differentiate colors.

Must be able to lift, move or push up to 25lbs periodically.
