Parts Washer /
Qualified Staffing is hiring Parts Washers for a growing manufacturing facility in Richmond, VA. This position supports production by preparing fabricated metal components for painting and finishing processes.
What You'll Do Clean and prepare metal components prior to painting and finishing operations Remove dirt, grease, debris, and contaminants using approved cleaning methods Sand, grind, scrape, and smooth surfaces for proper paint adhesion Apply masking materials and protective coverings to components as required Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the production area Transport parts between workstations, paint booths, drying areas, and assembly departments Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and material handling equipment as authorized Clean and maintain paint preparation equipment and workstations Assist with minor surface repairs prior to painting Utilize orbital sanders, grinders, RF scanners, and other production equipment safely Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Support production schedules and quality standards Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial experience preferred Experience using sanders, grinders, hand tools, or similar equipment preferred Forklift experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work safely around industrial equipment Comfortable performing physically demanding work Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes Why Work With Qualified Staffing?
