  • Raise after 60 days Join the team at Eck Industries, a leading aluminum foundry in Manitowoc, WI.
We are seeking hands on, detail oriented individuals who take pride in producing high quality castings. Our cast components are used in aerospace, defense, and other cutting edge industries, where accuracy and craftsmanship are essential. In this role, you will decore castings, remove gates and risers, grind burrs, and sand parting lines to ensure each component meets strict quality standards. You'll also inspect every casting after cleaning to confirm it meets acceptance requirements. If you enjoy working with your hands, have a strong eye for detail, and want to be part of a team delivering reliable, high-performance products, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform visual inspections of casting surfaces to identify defects Grind, sand, clean, or polish castings to remove imperfections and prepare surfaces Remove gates and risers using saws and hand tools; reprocess work as needed Set up and operate grinding equipment and other finishing tools, including robotic cells Secure and handle castings using clamps and hoist assist for larger parts Verify finished parts meet specifications and maintain tools, equipment, and work area cleanliness What We're Looking For Prior manufacturing experience preferred (but we'll train the right person!). High school diploma or GED preferred. Good attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Comfortable working with your hands in an active environment. Why You'll Love It Great pay
