As part of a turnkey heavy fabrication team, Sandblasters are responsible for stripping a surface of dirt, rust, old paint, and grease, and prepares it for refinishing and repair using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical equipment. 2nd

Shift:

Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM (3-day Weekend) Job Responsibilities Use abrasive blasting equipment to remove paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt Responsible for the initial prep of large steel beams and other metal parts to prepare for Industrial Paint Use forklift to haul material, tools, and equipment Maintain equipment and work area All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned Job Qualifications Knowledge of corrosion-control methods and processes is desired Must be able to comply with instructions Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner Regular attendance required Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Employee Benefits 2nd shift has a four-day work week and shift differential pay Health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans available the first of the month following date of hire Paid Short-term Disability and Paternity Leave for new parents Eligibility in our 401K benefit plan with company match after 30 days of employment Paid vacation and holidays available at hire Health Saving Account (HSA) plan with employer contribution Participation in the company's semi-annual discretionary incentive plan Job training and advancement opportunities Overtime opportunities available We are an EOE/AA (M/F/Veteran/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation)
