Deli hours are 11-2:30 Monday-Saturday. We are looking for a full time employee that can work the hours of 8:30-4:30. Manna Grocery is founded on customer service.

All employees responsibilities include:

Provide excellent customer service to our shoppers, including greeting customers, smiling and making eye contact. Make the customer's needs your priority whenever on the sales floor or answering the phone. Provide excellent internal customer service to all staff members, maintaining an attitude of goodwill toward yourself and others. Help to create a work environment that is cooperative, fun, productive, and safe, and that focuses on solutions instead of problems.

Deli Associate Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of deli foods with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards Serve customers efficiently at the deli counter, providing friendly assistance and product recommendations Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales transactions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, bussing, and sanitation procedures Manage inventory levels, restock items as needed, and assist with food storage practices Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service or quick service Familiarity with POS systems for cashiering and sales processing Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience in culinary tasks such as slicing, assembling sandwiches or salads, and general kitchen duties Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry who enjoy working in a lively environment where every day brings new opportunities to serve customers with enthusiasm.
