Position Summary The role of the Food Service Tech I reports to the Food Services Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining the kitchen area and equipment. Essential Position Responsibilities Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers and patients. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, cafeteria, and workstations through general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing. Clean soiled dishes utilizing proper procedure and technique and store in an appropriate and safe manner. Sort and remove trash, place in correct area for disposal. Ensure quality and regulatory standards are met and maintained.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED Licensure and Certifications:
N/A Experience:
Minimum of 6 months experience in a food service production area, preferred.Work Environment:
