Overview Join our dynamic team as a JJ's Inshopper, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will shine! As an Inshopper, you will be the vital link between our customers and their favorite food options, ensuring quick, friendly service in a lively retail or food service environment. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, adhering to quality and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product selections and inquiries Upsell products and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food prep stations Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support the team in food industry tasks such as serving, food preparation, and kitchen assistance Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods in a quick service or fast-food environment Assist with grocery or retail store tasks as needed, including stocking shelves and managing inventory Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to upsell products confidently to boost sales opportunities Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Experience working in quick service & fast-food restaurants or cafés is highly desirable Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high energy levels Join us as an Inshopper where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
