Job Description
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) during production.
Review production and food safety documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas.
Perform environmental swabbing and other sanitation verification activities.
Conduct product testing, including but not limited to:pH testingTemperature checksQuality auditsVerify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Assist with product holds and related quality control procedures.
Help develop, implement, and monitor food safety and quality assurance programs.
Support company safety initiatives and help ensure compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and compliance activities.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
Report food safety, quality, or safety issues to management in a timely manner.
QualificationsExperience in food safety, quality assurance, or food manufacturing preferred.
Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and OSHA standards.
Ability to perform inspections, collect samples, and document findings accurately.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
