A successful candidate in this role will bring an interest in horticultural and sustainability along with a readiness to assist on a wide variety of projects under the direction of our Warehouse and Horticulture Teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and pre-package growing accessories for sale Receive, inspect, sort, and refurbish customer returns Assist with maintaining plant health, pest management, and sanitation, of Farmstands for R D and marketing purposes Support warehouse team with other ad-hoc projects as needed Maintain a steady pace with attention to detail Maintain a clean and orderly storage area and workspace

REQUIREMENTS

Dependable, punctual, and positive attitude Hard working and not afraid to get your hands dirty Job entails standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting frequently (up to 50 lbs) Excellent oral communication and time management skills Basic computer skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience with gardening or horticulture a plus, but not required Availability for off-site travel in the LA area for special event support a huge plus

Job Type:

Part-time, 15-20 hours per week, flexible options between 8am and 4pm

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour
