Quality Assurance Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician responsible for pre-operation inspection and ATP swabbing of machines and instruments. This role involves conducting product testing, including pH, salt titrations, Brix, and viscosity, to ensure the highest quality standards. The technician will also be tasked with calling for production holds when necessary, upholding GMP standards, and following HACCP guidelines. Additionally, the position requires creating Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and conducting batch record reviews. Responsibilities Perform pre-operation inspection and ATP swabbing of machines and instruments. Conduct product testing such as pH, salt titrations, Brix, and viscosity. Call for production holds when necessary. Uphold GMP standards and follow HACCP guidelines. Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and conduct batch record reviews. Essential Skills Experience in quality assurance, particularly in food manufacturing. Proficiency in ATP testing and overseeing sanitation processes. Knowledge of HACCP, CAPA, Brix, and swabbing techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of QA/QC experience in the food or beverage industry or a Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience. Ability to lead and uphold GMP standards with the production and sanitation team. Work Environment This position is for the 1st shift at the Orange facility, a smaller site compared to the Fullerton location. The work hours are from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Responsibilities include gathering samples from the floor, ensuring production follows GMPs and SOPs, and conducting Brix, pH, and titrations on samples, as well as ATP swabbing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
