Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties The Food Service Technician I will be directed by the Food Service Supervisor I/II and/or Supervising Cook I/II in Nutrition Services at the Department of State Hospitals

• Atascadero (ASH).

The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to: Assist and participate in the preparation and distribution of food and beverages. Assist with the production and distribution of food while adhering to requirements for physical exertion, infection control, and food safety/Hazardous Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP). Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Maintain order, cleanliness, and sanitation in assigned area of responsibility. Adhere to requirements for safety, security, emergency response, a non-hostile work environment, and rights of patients. Participate in Performance Improvement activities and other miscellaneous responsibilities.
