Job Description

Do you want independence day-to-day but the backing of a best-in-class service network? Are you excited to support Chick-fil-A restaurants exclusively and build deep OEM knowledge? What you'll do Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipment Service commercial cooking equipment, sealed-system refrigeration, specialty foodservice equipment, and base building HVAC systems Respond to Operator service requests within established SLAs Work on equipment from brands including Henny Penny, Follett, Lennox (HVAC), Traulsen, Hobart mixers, Champion dishwashers, and Garland Grill Coordinate with manufacturers for diagnostic support and parts identification Consult with the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team while onsite Install ordered parts with precision and professionalism Complete timely documentation (work orders, time, receipts) and manage truck stock inventory Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and parts Support on-call emergency response during non-standard hours Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures Participate in continuous OEM training and certification programs Engage with partners, suppliers, and vendors across the service network Achieve productivity targets in line with company standards What sets Colliers apart Our enterprising, decentralized culture empowers you to take ownership, grow quickly, and do what's right for clients, people, and communities. Qualifications Technical trade school training and/or relevant hands-on experience Minimum 5+ years of related trade experience or equivalent Training/experience in one or more: sealed refrigeration/HVAC systems; electrical systems; mechanical systems; process controls; hot-side cooking equipment and/or mechanical power transmission Experience servicing kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systems EPA Universal Certification Valid state driver's license and proof of insurance; safe driving record (MVR required); able to safely operate company vehicles Mechanical aptitude; strong troubleshooting skills; able to read diagrams and schematics Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service apps Excellent written and verbal communication; self-starter who works independently; positive, service-oriented attitude Travel 100% travel within a defined local market Limited overnight travel (mostly for onboarding and training) Physical requirements Extended work during emergencies or priority situations (including overtime) Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds Climb ladders and stairs up to two stories (with ladder safety training); roof access ladders provided; van loading/unloading of a large ladder is non typical Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, crawling Prolonged standing and walking on even/uneven surfaces Frequent use of arms, wrists, hands to operate tools/machinery Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather Tools and technologies Machines & technologies you'll use: Refrigeration/Cooling Systems You should be proficient in: HVAC/R Systems; Electrical Troubleshooting; Electrical Repair; Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification; HVAC Maintenance; HVAC Troubleshooting; HVAC Repair; Field Service Readiness; Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Compensation & benefits Competitive compensation and benefits including, but not limited to, a full range of health care benefits, paid time off, and 401K are available.
