Full-Time | First Shift (Weekends Required) Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and proactive Maintenance Technician to support operations in a high-volume, fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role is essential in maintaining equipment efficiency and ensuring continuous production in a cold environment. The ideal candidate must have strong mechanical and electrical experience, along with hands-on experience in key food production machinery. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential issues Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records Ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP) and workplace safety regulations Assist in setup, adjustment, and repair of production machinery Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications (REQUIRED) 3-5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food production preferred) Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills ( MUST have electrical experience ) Hands-on experience with: Proseal packaging machines (REQUIRED) Freeze spiral freezer systems (REQUIRED) Carton box forming/packing machines (REQUIRED) Knowledge of motors, conveyors, sensors, and automated production equipment Ability to work in cold environments (refrigerated/frozen production areas) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and overtime Preferred Experience in frozen food or high-speed production environments Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards Experience with PLC troubleshooting Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Stable full-time schedule Growth opportunities within the company Please contact Itzel for more information: 323-209-2675
