Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and support commercial foodservice equipment in the field. This is not an entry-level position —we are looking for a technician who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and represent PHT Systems at a high level. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial hot-side equipment (fryers, combi ovens, rotisseries) Service and maintain Carpigiani soft-serve machines (or similar equipment) Troubleshoot equipment issues both on-site and over the phone Provide hands-on customer training on proper equipment use and care Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and follow-through Manage and maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory Accurately document service calls and communicate updates internally Required Qualifications (Must-Have) 1+ years of hands-on experience servicing commercial foodservice equipment Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision Excellent customer communication and professionalism Valid driver's license with clean driving record Comfortable using mobile tools, apps, and service software Preferred / Strongly Desired Experience with Henny Penny, combi ovens, or similar equipment EPA certification and refrigeration experience Experience servicing soft-serve or refrigeration systems Background in commercial kitchen equipment (restaurant or grocery environments) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Medical and dental insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life and disability insurance Paid time off 401(k) plan Schedule Typical hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Flexibility required based on customer needs (early start / late finish at times) Weekend on-call rotation Work Environment Our office is located in Yorba Linda, CA but you will often travel directly from your home to customer locations Daily travel to customer locations throughout Southern California Important Note We are looking for technicians who already have relevant commercial equipment experience and can contribute quickly. Candidates without this background will not be considered.
