Your impact Restore critical equipment quickly—troubleshoot, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen systems Service hot-side cooking equipment, sealed-system refrigeration, specialty foodservice gear, and base building HVAC Meet or exceed response expectations on Operator service requests Work across leading brands: Henny Penny, Follett, Lennox (HVAC), Traulsen, Hobart mixers, Champion dishwashers, Garland Grill Coordinate with manufacturers for expert diagnostics and parts identification Partner onsite with the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team Install ordered parts precisely and professionally Complete accurate digital paperwork: work orders, time, receipts, and truck stock Keep your service vehicle, tools, and inventory organized and audit-ready Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response outside standard hours Lead with safety—apply LOTO, follow EHS practices, and prevent incidents Advance through continuous OEM training and certifications Collaborate with equipment partners, suppliers, and vendors in the service network Maintain productivity in line with company standards What you'll need Technical trade school training and/or relevant hands-on experience Minimum 5+ years in a related trade (or equivalent) Proven experience in one or more: sealed refrigeration/HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, hot-side cooking equipment and/or mechanical power transmission Background servicing kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systems EPA Universal Certification Valid state driver's license and insurance; safe driving record (MVR required) Comfort operating company vehicles safely Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting ability Ability to read and interpret schematics/diagrams Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service apps Excellent written and verbal communication Self-directed, dependable, and service-oriented Where and how you'll work 100% travel within your defined local market Limited overnight travel, primarily for onboarding and training Physical realities of the role Extended work during emergencies or priority situations (including overtime) Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs Climb ladders and stairs up to two stories (ladder safety training provided). Roof access ladders are provided; loading/unloading a large ladder from the van is not typical.
