Job Description
Part-Time Plant Maintenance Technician PlantWorks LLC is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Plant Maintenance Technician to care for interior plants at commercial properties throughout the Jacksonville area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, driving between locations, and working with plants. Position Details Part-time Monday-Friday Approximately 4-5 hours per day No weekends Gas/mileage paid Paid training provided Start date: June 2026 Hourly pay based on experience Job Duties Visit multiple commercial locations each day according to a scheduled route Water interior plants as needed Inspect plants for health, pests, disease, and other issues Remove dead or damaged leaves and flowers Clean and dust plant foliage Rotate plants to promote even growth Apply fertilizers and plant treatments when necessary Replace plants as directed Maintain a clean and professional appearance at client locations Communicate any plant concerns or client requests to management Load, unload, and transport plants and supplies between locations Keep accurate service records and notes Skills & Qualifications Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong reliability and punctuality Good communication and customer service skills Ability to follow schedules and route assignments Attention to detail Ability to lift, carry, push, and move plants and containers weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors Basic smartphone skills for communication and route information Preferred Qualifications Experience with plant care, horticulture, landscaping, gardening, or greenhouse work Knowledge of common indoor plants What We Offer Flexible daytime schedule No evenings or weekends Paid training Independent work environment Gas reimbursement Opportunity for additional hours as the company grows PlantWorks LLC is looking for someone dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
