Job Description
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a motivated Quality Control Technician in Atlanta, GA. In this fast-paced, dynamic role, you will be responsible for conducting various lab and sensory tests while working closely with plant management, employees, and customers to ensure high-quality production standards. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In a Quality Control Technician job you'll be responsible for:
- Conducting titratable salinity, titratable acidity, pH, viscosity, and other sensory tests
- Performing rapid microbiological testing after training
- Spending part of your day on the production floor to ensure products are correctly prepared and shipped
- Collaborating with upper management and R D teams
- Interacting with customers and assisting with other tasks as assigned by management What you'll need:
- Degree in a science field such as Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related discipline
- Flexibility to work both in the lab and on the production floor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
