Warner Robins AFB Position Summary:
Vaughn & BCI is hiring a detail-oriented Food Sanitation Specialist to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining facility at Warner Robins Air Force Base . This role is critical in maintaining a safe, sanitary environment that supports food service operations in compliance with military standards and health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing stations, dining areas, restrooms, and storage rooms Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper chemical usage Remove trash and recycling, and maintain proper waste disposal procedures Assist in cleaning floors, walls, and other surfaces throughout the kitchen and facility Monitor sanitation supply inventory and alert supervisor when items need to be restocked Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times Comply with HACCP, food safety, and health department regulations Support kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation of the dining facility
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, or food service roles is a plus Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Must be able to pass background check for military base access
