Job Description

Position Title:
Assistant Location Manager Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Assistant Agronomy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing agronomic operations, providing technical support, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of agronomic practices, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Agronomy Manager in planning and executing agronomic programs and services. Provide technical support and advice to farmers on crop production, pest management, soil health, and nutrient management. Supervise and train agronomy staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards. Conduct field scouting and diagnostic activities to identify crop issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored agronomic solutions. Assist in the implementation of precision agriculture technologies and data-driven decision-making tools. Coordinate and oversee scheduling of agronomic services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in the preparation of performance reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field. Proven experience in agronomy, crop production, or a related field, with a supervisory or managerial role preferred. Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, pest management, soil health, and nutrient management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional problem-solving and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with precision agriculture technologies. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
