Regulatory/legal compliance standards in production Computer skills FDA regulationsFull Job Description Description:
Inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met Monitor production operations to maintain compliance with company, GMP, HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations Perform routine quality checks, measurements, and product testing Identify defects, contamination risks, or non-conformance issues and report findings to management Document inspection results, quality reports, and corrective actions Verify proper labeling, packaging, and product specifications Ensure sanitation and food safety procedures are being followed throughout the facility Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas Assist with internal audits and regulatory inspections Monitor temperatures, weights, and product quality standards Work closely with production, sanitation, and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns Enforce company policies and food safety procedures Investigate customer complaints and assist with corrective action plans Maintain calibration records for quality testing equipment Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safetyRequirements:
Previous quality control or food manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, USDA, FDA, and OSHA standards Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer and documentation skills Ability to work in cold, wet, or fast-paced environments Good communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds if neededSimilar jobs in Aurora, IL
