Duties Prepare and serve a variety of gelato flavors with precision and flair, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, offering recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail and integrity Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and display cases, adhering to sanitation guidelines and food handling protocols Assist in food preparation tasks including scooping, topping, and packaging gelato for dine-in or take-out orders Support team members during busy periods by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth service flow Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and create engaging interactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment Experience working in cafés, grocery stores, or retail environments within the food industry is advantageous Embark on an exciting journey where your culinary talents can flourish!
