RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of this job is to assist the University Faculty and Farm Manager in carrying out operations associated with the Agricultural Field Laboratories (AFL). This position will provide primary assistance to all agronomic operations, but will be available to assist in any AFL activity, as needed, to ensure effective and efficient operation. This position provides daily support to the agronomy research unit including land preparation, planting, fertilizing, spraying, and harvesting in accordance with research directives and instructional demonstration plans.WORK LOCATION

High school diploma or equivalent. Possession of a valid Illinois vehicle operator's license(s). Any one or combination totaling five (5) years (60 months) from the categories below: A. Coursework in agriculture, animal science, crop science, environmental science, or a closely related field as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months) B.
