Randstad USA is seeking Quality Control Technicians for a growing food manufacturing operation in Mokena, IL. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, and production standards throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, quality inspections, documentation, and compliance with food safety programs such as SQF, BRC, HACCP, FDA, and GMP standards. ️ Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
Previous Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or food manufacturing experience strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to identify defects and quality issues Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred:
Experience with SQF, BRC, HACCP, FDA, or GMP programs Internal auditing experience Experience using testing, measuring, and calibration equipment Food manufacturing or bakery industry experience Physical & Work Environment:
Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Perform repetitive inspections and quality checks Work in a food manufacturing environment Ability to lift materials as needed Must wear required PPE including: Steel-toe shoes Hair net and beard net (if applicable) Food-safe production attire Compensation & Benefits:

$41,000•$47,840 per year shift: First work hours: 3 AM•3 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Perform product inspections and quality checks throughout production Monitor raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods for specification compliance Complete quality reports, production records, logs, and documentation accurately Investigate product defects and assist with corrective and preventive actions Support internal audits and prepare documentation for customer and regulatory audits Monitor production processes to identify and prevent quality issues Verify compliance with food safety, GMP, and quality standards Assist with calibration and verification of testing and measurement equipment Collaborate with Production, Operations, Sanitation, and Management teams to resolve quality concerns Track and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and food safety Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all PPE requirements The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 20lbs Skills Quality Control HACCP Certified GMP FDA Inspection Quality testing Food Environment Product Inspection food manufacturing Qualifications Years of experience: 2 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
