Job Description
GPAC has partnered with a reputable and growing agronomic company looking to add an Experienced Retail Sales Agronomist to their team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, highly motivated, detail-oriented and ready to take on this dynamic role. This position offers an opportunity to grow professionally while playing a key role in helping farmers and growers maximize production while controlling control pests.
Key Responsibilities:
Make fertilizer, chemical, and seed recommendations to growers and farmers You will work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in retail agronomy sales in chemicals, fertilizer, and seed. A bachelor's degree or higher in an agricultural related field Vast knowledge of crop production Proven leadership, decision-making, and communication skills Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver's license Please submit a current resume for consideration.
