Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of farm machinery and equipment. This role is critical to keeping operations running efficiently by ensuring all agricultural equipment is safe, reliable, and performing at peak capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all types of farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, planters, tillage equipment, Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems Perform engine repairs, transmissions, drivetrains, and PTO systems Conduct inspections and identify worn or damaged parts Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with farm managers, operators, and parts departments to ensure timely repairs Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer service guidelines
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Agricultural Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar role Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and computerized diagnostics Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation Welding and fabrication skills preferred Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Stand, kneel, bend, and climb as required
