Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Food Grade Tank Wash Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of food-grade storage tanks. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation for food production and storage. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help uphold our reputation for excellence in food safety. Responsibilities Operate specialized cleaning equipment to thoroughly wash and sanitize large food-grade tanks, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards Perform detailed inspections of tanks for cleanliness, damage, or residue, documenting findings accurately Use cleaning agents, brushes, high-pressure washers, and other tools to remove residues and contaminants effectively Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to janitorial and custodial procedures Assist with minor maintenance tasks related to tank cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions promptly Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Support other team members with related duties Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing setting Experience with vehicle or car wash operations or similar cleaning tasks is highly desirable Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Valid driving license with a clean driving record Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures, including the use of high-pressure washers and cleaning chemicals Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail Join us and be part of a committed team dedicated to delivering safe, spotless tanks that meet the highest standards in the food industry. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
