Job Description

A growing agribusiness is seeking an experienced Sales Agronomist to support growers with crop input recommendations, seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and agronomic solutions. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and agricultural customers Provide agronomic recommendations for seed, fertilizer, crop protection, and related inputs Scout fields and identify crop health, pest, weed, disease, and fertility concerns Develop territory sales plans and support customer growth Work closely with operations teams to coordinate product delivery and application Stay current on crop input products, market trends, and agronomic best practices Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the growing season Qualifications Agronomy, crop consulting, seed, fertilizer, chemical, or ag retail experience preferred Strong understanding of row crops, specialty crops, or regional crop production CCA certification is a plus, but not required Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and manage a territory Clean driving record preferred Compensation Competitive base salary + commission, full benefits, company truck, and long-term growth potential.
