3rd Shift About the Role Crown Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to ensure finished products meet quality and compliance standards. This role is critical to monitoring production processes, performing analytical tests, and collaborating with teams to address quality issues. Key Responsibilities Evaluate finished products for quality and acceptability according to product specifications. Perform all necessary analyses and maintain compliance with documentation requirements. Communicate product quality issues to Production Supervisors, Managers, QC personnel, and relevant departments. Log analysis test results and batch information in the I-Series (AS400) system and maintain accurate records. Monitor line equipment for functionality, safety, and cleanliness. Conduct and document critical control point (CCP) checks, GMP audits, and inspections of metal detectors, magnets, and scales. Assist in investigations of foreign material incidents and product non-conformance issues. Perform batch setup checks, address discrepancies, and log findings. Place product on hold or reject as necessary, including completing rejection forms with root cause and corrective actions. Verify allergen cleanouts and effectiveness as needed. Conduct Pre-Operational (Pre-Op) audits as required, such as post-maintenance equipment checks. Perform production scale checks and calibrate lab equipment according to schedules. Collect and manage micro samples, including placing micro hold products on hold. Maintain the retained sample area and control sample files. Follow all GMPs and safety procedures. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the QC Manager. Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D.
