Job Description

Sales Agronomist A growing agribusiness is seeking an experienced Sales Agronomist to support growers with crop input recommendations, seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and agronomic solutions. Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and agricultural customers
  • Provide agronomic recommendations for seed, fertilizer, crop protection, and related inputs
  • Scout fields and identify crop health, pest, weed, disease, and fertility concerns
  • Develop territory sales plans and support customer growth
  • Work closely with operations teams to coordinate product delivery and application
  • Stay current on crop input products, market trends, and agronomic best practices
  • Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the growing season Qualifications
  • Agronomy, crop consulting, seed, fertilizer, chemical, or ag retail experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of row crops, specialty crops, or regional crop production
  • CCA certification is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory
  • Clean driving record preferred Compensation Competitive base salary + commission, full benefits, company truck, and long-term growth potential.
