Overview Join our dynamic team as a Horticultural Technician and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of plant care, landscape maintenance, and sustainable agriculture. Whether you're passionate about greenhouse cultivation, lawn care, or landscape design, this position empowers you to make a tangible impact through hands-on work and innovative practices. Duties Maintain and enhance garden beds, and landscape features using hand tools and power tools to ensure pristine appearance and health. Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks such as trimming, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control to sustain vibrant outdoor spaces. Use gardening expertise to identify plant diseases or deficiencies early and recommend appropriate treatments or interventions. Collaborate with team members on landscape projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed while operating equipment like lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, or other power tools. Skills Strong growing experience across various plants—flowers, shrubs, vegetables—and knowledge of horticultural best practices. Solid background in gardening techniques including pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and pest management. Familiarity with lawn care routines such as mowing patterns, aeration techniques, and turf health assessment. Knowledge of landscape maintenance principles including planting design, soil preparation, and erosion control. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently as well as power tools like trimmers or blowers. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
