Us too! You've found your people. We are seeking a reliable
PART-TIME
position for a detail-oriented Indoor Plant Specialist who loves plants and conversing with people while managing a maintenance schedule to provide weekly care for plants at client sites. The Specialist ensures plants remain healthy, vibrant, and well-maintained by performing scheduled visits and applying best practices in plant care. This position requires the use of a personal vehicle to travel between client locations. Key Responsibilities Perform weekly plant care visits at assigned client locations. Water, prune, clean, and rotate plants to promote healthy growth and appearance. Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests, disease, or stress. Apply fertilizers and other treatments as directed. Remove and replace unhealthy or expired plants as needed. Keep accurate records of plant conditions, replacements, and services performed. Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working order. Provide excellent customer service and communicate plant care updates as needed. Drive personal vehicle to and from client sites on a weekly schedule (mileage reimbursable). Wear appropriate business-casual attire while representing Roots brand. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; horticulture training a plus. Prior experience in plant care, landscaping, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of basic plant health and maintenance. Ability to work independently and manage a weekly service schedule. Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in varying conditions. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, standing, and carrying tasks. Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle (required) . Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with interior "plantscaping" or weekly maintenance routines. Basic record-keeping and organizational skills.
