Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Horticulture Processing Technician and play a vital role in cultivating and maintaining high-quality plant products. You will be responsible for processing plants, managing cultivation environments, and supporting overall greenhouse operations with precision and care. Responsibilities Assist in planting, harvesting, and processing horticultural crops with attention to detail and efficiency Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules for plants in greenhouses Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to maintain plant health and optimize growth conditions Identify various plant species and diagnose common issues related to pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies Support greenhouse operations by managing environmental controls such as ventilation, heating, and lighting systems Perform routine lawn care, landscaping tasks, and general outdoor maintenance to promote healthy growth environments Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and scheduling of planting or harvesting activities Experience Growing experience in horticulture, farming, or landscaping is highly preferred Hands-on experience with greenhouse management and cultivation techniques Knowledge of irrigation systems, land preparation, and plant identification methods Familiarity with gardening tools, heavy lifting requirements, and outdoor work safety protocols Mechanical knowledge related to farm equipment or irrigation systems is a plus Prior experience working in agriculture or lawn care environments will be advantageous Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads and performing repetitive outdoor activities This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise in horticulture while contributing to sustainable agricultural practices.
