If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, working independently, and helping customers stay operational during critical grain seasons, this is the opportunity for you. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain grain dryers of all makes and sizes Conduct pre-season inspections and preventative maintenance Assist with installation, wiring, plumbing, and setup of new dryer systems Independently manage service calls and daily schedules using company systems Track materials, parts usage, and complete accurate service documentation Order replacement parts and maintain inventory accuracy Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations Work safely in a variety of outdoor environments and weather conditions What We're Looking For Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities Organized and detail-oriented mindset Positive attitude and customer-focused approach Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons Preferred Qualifications 2-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred Experience with grain dryers, agricultural equipment, millwright work, electrical, or service repair OSHA 10 Certification preferred Experience with gas plumbing, wiring, or industrial equipment is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Comfortable working at heights Ability to stand, climb, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and changing weather conditions Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening Why Join Summit Contracting?
