Full Job Description Job Summary:
Rajbhog Foods Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Food Safety Technician to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality within our organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and implementing best practices in food safety. The role is based in Jersey City, NJ 07304 Monday
  • Thursday:
    03:30 pm to 01:30 am Friday
  • 03:30 pm to 12:30 am Biweekly Saturday
  • 07:00 am to 03:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all food products meet safety and quality standards. Review and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control records related to HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations. Coordinate activities with regulatory agencies such as USDA and FDA. Prepare for and manage third-party customer audits. Oversee inspections of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods to ensure high-quality standards. Train employees on policies and procedures related to food safety. Monitor production processes from preparation to packaging. Conduct weekly evaluations of products and ingredients. Perform microbiological testing (internal and external), including in-house ATP and Listeria testing. Participate in bi-weekly Quality Assurance conference calls. Assist the Unit Manager and Corporate Quality Assurance with assigned tasks. Independently address quality-related issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with internal policies and safety requirements. Effectively communicate and collaborate in a team environment. Work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, using standard office equipment. Adapt to varying temperature conditions, including cold refrigeration (32°F). Lift/move up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in food production, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Bachelor's degree (BS) or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of food industry quality and sanitation standards (HACCP, USDA, FDA). Bilingual in English and Spanish. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in English (both written and oral). Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
