We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Hydraulic Equipment Service Technician to join our unique service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering quality service. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various types of agricultural equipment in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with proven proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication and 12-volt electronics will be considered for a higher pay rate.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of agricultural equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and routine service tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and tire service. Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems. Troubleshooting and working with 12-volt electrical systems. Welding and fabrication. Use shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to complete service work efficiently and accurately. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours. Keep the work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations. Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and team members to ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction. Qualifications to
Apply:
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems required. Proficiency in 12-volt electrical systems preferred. Proficiency in welding and fabrication required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience using common shop tools (e.g., wrenches, grinders, hoists, multimeters, pneumatic tools). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. (A background check is part of the hiring process) Strong understanding of time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to communicate and work effectively with peers, supervisors, and occasionally customers. Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment technologies and service techniques. Familiarity with agricultural machinery and implements is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Positive employment references will be requested as part of the hiring process.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work in shop and field environments, in varying weather conditions. Working in the shop and on the field during service calls. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Occasional overtime or weekend work will be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
