Job Description
Overview Martens Fresh, LLC is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, learning new systems, and taking pride in keeping a facility running efficiently. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our company. The successful candidate will work closely with our current Maintenance Supervisor and be trained to eventually assume a leadership role as part of our succession planning. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance throughout the facility. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, conveyors, motors, and packaging machinery. Assist with maintenance and repairs on vertical form fill seal (VFFS) packaging machines. Diagnose and address basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Complete routine facility maintenance and repairs. Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Maintain maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to management. Qualifications Basic electrical knowledge required. Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to learn quickly and work independently. Manufacturing, packaging, or maintenance experience preferred. Experience with VFFS packaging equipment is a plus but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in refrigerated and frozen environments when necessary. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
