Quality Technician Food Manufacturing (Growth Opportunity)

Compensation:

$19.50 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:

What You'll Be Doing Monitor and verify that products meet quality, consistency, and food safety standards Conduct in-process and finished product inspections (temperature, weight, appearance, labels) Perform environmental swabbing, allergen testing, pH checks, and other quality testing Partner with production teams to identify issues and prevent recurrence Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and internal food safety requirements Maintain accurate, detailed documentation and records Report non-conformances and follow through on corrective actions Serve as a resource on the floor for quality and food safety guidance

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For Detail-oriented individuals who take pride in accuracy and consistency Prior experience in quality assurance or food safety preferred; we will train the right candidate with the right mindset Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and food manufacturing environments is a strong plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities Comfortable working in cold and wet production environments Strong communication skills with the confidence to speak up and address issues Willingness to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed Work Environment Refrigerated facility (approximately 30-38°F) Fast-paced, team-oriented production setting Active role requiring standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift About Company Take Pride in Your Work At Sandridge , the food we make ends up on tables across the country .
