Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chemical Sales Representative specializing in the Meat Processing Industry to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to promote our advanced chemical solutions tailored for meat processing facilities. Your energetic approach will drive customer engagement, foster strong relationships, and expand our market presence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge with proactive sales strategies to deliver impactful solutions that enhance meat processing operations. Existing relationships with meat processing plants preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and plant operations. Ability to travel throughout Texas and Oklahoma Valid driver's license. Applications from candidates without direct experience in meat processing plants, slaughter facilities, packing houses, rendering plants, or food processing facilities will be automatically declined. Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting meat processing companies to increase product adoption and market share. Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the benefits of our chemical solutions. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique processing needs and recommend tailored chemical applications. Provide pre-sales technical support, including analysis of customer requirements and solution customization. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sale follow-up. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM tools. Coordinate with internal teams on project management, product development, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in technical sales within the Meat Processing Industry or related food manufacturing sectors. Strong understanding of chemical products used in meat processing, including sanitation, preservation, and enhancement solutions. Proficiency in computer networking concepts Familiarity with pre-sales activities such as product demos, analysis skills, and project management methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging product demos and articulate complex technical information clearly. Hands-on experience Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs, evaluate solutions, and provide strategic recommendations.
