Job Description
Responsibilities Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP , SSOPs , GMPs , and food safety programs Perform routine quality and food safety checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods Verify and document critical control points (CCPs) and preventive controls Collect samples for testing Complete and maintain accurate QA records, logs, and reports Identify non-conformances and assist with corrective and preventive actions Ensure proper product labeling, packaging, and traceability Support USDA inspections , customer audits, and third-party audits Assist with product holds, releases, and investigations Train and reinforce food safety and quality practices with production employees Report food safety or quality concerns immediately to management Requirements Proven experience in food manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control or quality assurance roles. Knowledge of industry standards including HACCP principles, GMP practices, and USDA regulations. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records of inspections and audits. Effective communication skills for collaborating with manufacturing teams and documenting findings clearly.
