This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, mechanically talented, electrically knowledgeable, and experienced in food-processing or packaging equipment environments.
HYBRID ROLE

Key Responsibilities Equipment Assembly & Build Uncrate machines and equipment from wooden boxes using hand tools and power tools. Assemble conveyors, platforms, frames, safety guards, product handling equipment, etc. Build and configure packaging systems including multi-head weighers, pre-made pouch (DoyPack) machines, and vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) machines . Complete all mechanical adjustments, alignments, timing, and system integrations. Technical Troubleshooting & Setup Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings . Diagnose and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues during builds and installations. Perform full machine commissioning, calibration, and optimization at customer facilities. Configure sensors, load cells, HMI settings, sealing parameters, bag forming adjustments, and more. Customer Support & Field Service Travel to customer food plants as needed for installation, commissioning, training, and service. Train customer operators and maintenance staff on safe and proper machine use. Serve as a brand ambassador who communicates clearly, maintains professionalism, and ensures customer success. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with internal team members to prepare equipment prior to shipment. Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspace and field environments. Suggest improvements to assembly procedures, design, workflow, and customer onboarding. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience working in a food plant or food packaging environment . Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment build, assembly, and adjustments. Working knowledge of electrical systems , including: Reading electrical schematics Basic troubleshooting of control circuits Wiring, sensors, and low-voltage components Working knowledge of pneumatics (valves, regulators, actuators). Hands-on experience with at least one of the following (required): Multi-head weighers Pre-made pouch / DoyPack machines Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) systems Ability and willingness to travel for installations and customer support (Domestic only) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
REQUIRED
Experience (Mandatory) Experience with food packaging automation systems.
PLC / HMI
