Job Overview Pike Creek Ag Solutions is a fast-growing, independent ag business specializing in poultry litter application, gypsum, fertilizer, and seed. We are expanding and looking for a Sales Agronomist to help drive growth and build long-term customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone currently working at a co-op, seed company, or ag retailer who wants more earning potential, more flexibility, and the opportunity to build their own book of business. Independent, fast-growing company (not corporate) Opportunity to build something and grow with the business Sell a diversified offering (litter, gypsum, fertilizer, seed) Uncapped earning potential tied directly to your performance Flexible, real-world environment where results matter Check us out at PikeCreekAg.com Duties Sales & Account Management (80%) Develop and manage relationships with farmers across East Central Indiana Grow a book of business through existing relationships and new customer acquisition Sell and support: Poultry litter programs◦ Gypsum applications◦ Fertility programs◦ Seed solutions Create long-term, trust-based customer relationships Identify opportunities to increase revenue per acre across all services Agronomy & Advisory Review soil tests and make fertility recommendations Scout fields and provide agronomic insights Help customers make ROI-driven decisions on inputs and practices Seasonal Support (20%) Assist with farm operations and/or application crews during peak seasons (planting, harvest, high-demand application windows) Work alongside a small, driven team to get the job done when it matters most Experience Experience in ag sales, agronomy, or crop advising (co-op, seed, fertilizer, or similar background preferred) Existing relationships with local farmers is a major plus Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with a desire to grow income and responsibility Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Willingness to help during peak seasons when needed
Compensation Base Salary:
$52,000
Commission:
Tiered, based on revenue generated Significant upside for high performers
Earning Potential:
$100,000-$200,000+ Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle (based on candidate)
