Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them by providing their completed orders correctly at the front counter using our Toast POS system. Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, ensuring quality and food safety standards are met at all times. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, including food handling stations and equipment. Assist with ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Follow food safety management protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for retail sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques. Previous experience in cashiering, serving, or café operations is highly desirable.
